#160: The Risk



Sometimes you just go with what your heart tells you. You just forgive everything and let go of the grudges you hold. And you begin trusting again. You believe that you deserve the best there is for you. You decide you'll open a new leaf and start a new beginning. You trust the people who ask you to trust them. You decide you'll believe them. For how can they hurt you more than what you've been through. And how can they hurt you when you have decided to believe in them, and believe in yourself first and how good you are, and most importantly believe in Allah at first and at last.

So you go with your heart and love again, trust again, and feel blessed. And here's the risk you're taking. A leap of faith. Even if there will be no one to catch you. You have faith that you'll fly. And if you didn't, you'll land safely.

Funny how you can make me fall out of love and then back in love with you every time.

Above all, please remember, I trust you. So please be strong for me.

Today I feel truly loved.

#181: What's wrong with you people?

I need to scream "What's wrong with you people??" Why is it that everyone is so immersed in their own lives and their own problems that they can't even think what others may be feeling or even thinking? Why is it that life has become so tough on everyone that no one now has the time to communicate properly with the people around them, even the closest to them, their family and their friends. I bet anyone can now recall one true and real friend. A friend who has been always there, in the good and in the bad. A friend who gives as much as he takes. I'm talking here about a profound, true, and healthy friendship. A friendship that could last forever. We've lost a lot of values and a lot of principles along the way.  People no longer care for those little things that make life a better, more beautiful place. Those little words and acts of kindness and compassion. I miss such a wonderful world, that deep down I do believe it still exists.

#260: الخوف بيوجه للطمأنينة

"الخوف بيوجه للطمأنينة" .. الكلمة دي سمعتها امبارح في خلال أحد النقاشات مع أحد الأصدقاء : ) .. ولفتت انتباهي جدًا، لذلك، قررت إنها تبقى مدخل كلامي النهاردة، اللي أنا لسة مش متأكدة قوي هاقول فيه ايه! الخوف .. الخوف هو أكتر شعور بيرافقني في حياتي .. ساعات باسيبه قاعد جنبي، لكن في معظم الوقت كدة باعمل نفسي مش شايفاه لحد ما يزن عليا ويقعد يزن في ودني ويقولي "أنا مرعوبة"! ولو فضلت أوصف في شكل الخوف، مش هاخلص، ومش ده اللي حابة أعمله دلوقتي! لكن الحقيقة، ومؤخرًا جدًا بس (يعني من بس كام شهر كدة)، بقيت كل ما أخاف وأدخل أدعبس جوايا، ألاقي إني أصلًا وبجد مطمنة ... شعوري بالإطمئنان أكبر من شعوري بالخوف ... بس لسة بخاف.. ففهمت بقى إن الخوف ده ما هو إلا جرس إنذار كدة جاي يقولي: "ارجعي اطمني! ارجعي شوفي الأساس الحقيقي اللي عليه اتبنت الصورة اللي أنت خايفة منها دي، ورجعي كل حاجة لأصلها.. ارجعي بسطي الأمور على نفسك.. ارجعي افتكري ان الدنيا مابتقفش على حد ولا على حاجة.. ارجعي افتكري انه مش في ايديك غير نيتك .. حتى عملك مش في ايديك.. نيتك بس هي اللي في ايدك .. ارجعي ا...
