#320: True Love?

Had I ever truly loved someone? Loved them to the extent that I cry when I remember them? Cry because I miss them and not because they’ve hurt me? 

I’ve learned that the true form of Love is actually deep and honest friendship. What’s the longest, deepest friendship did I ever have? Well, nothing has lasted… So, maybe I haven’t lived the true love, yet! And maybe as long as I believe so, I wouldn’t ever live it.

#181: What's wrong with you people?

I need to scream "What's wrong with you people??" Why is it that everyone is so immersed in their own lives and their own problems that they can't even think what others may be feeling or even thinking? Why is it that life has become so tough on everyone that no one now has the time to communicate properly with the people around them, even the closest to them, their family and their friends. I bet anyone can now recall one true and real friend. A friend who has been always there, in the good and in the bad. A friend who gives as much as he takes. I'm talking here about a profound, true, and healthy friendship. A friendship that could last forever. We've lost a lot of values and a lot of principles along the way.  People no longer care for those little things that make life a better, more beautiful place. Those little words and acts of kindness and compassion. I miss such a wonderful world, that deep down I do believe it still exists.

#260: الخوف بيوجه للطمأنينة

"الخوف بيوجه للطمأنينة" .. الكلمة دي سمعتها امبارح في خلال أحد النقاشات مع أحد الأصدقاء : ) .. ولفتت انتباهي جدًا، لذلك، قررت إنها تبقى مدخل كلامي النهاردة، اللي أنا لسة مش متأكدة قوي هاقول فيه ايه! الخوف .. الخوف هو أكتر شعور بيرافقني في حياتي .. ساعات باسيبه قاعد جنبي، لكن في معظم الوقت كدة باعمل نفسي مش شايفاه لحد ما يزن عليا ويقعد يزن في ودني ويقولي "أنا مرعوبة"! ولو فضلت أوصف في شكل الخوف، مش هاخلص، ومش ده اللي حابة أعمله دلوقتي! لكن الحقيقة، ومؤخرًا جدًا بس (يعني من بس كام شهر كدة)، بقيت كل ما أخاف وأدخل أدعبس جوايا، ألاقي إني أصلًا وبجد مطمنة ... شعوري بالإطمئنان أكبر من شعوري بالخوف ... بس لسة بخاف.. ففهمت بقى إن الخوف ده ما هو إلا جرس إنذار كدة جاي يقولي: "ارجعي اطمني! ارجعي شوفي الأساس الحقيقي اللي عليه اتبنت الصورة اللي أنت خايفة منها دي، ورجعي كل حاجة لأصلها.. ارجعي بسطي الأمور على نفسك.. ارجعي افتكري ان الدنيا مابتقفش على حد ولا على حاجة.. ارجعي افتكري انه مش في ايديك غير نيتك .. حتى عملك مش في ايديك.. نيتك بس هي اللي في ايدك .. ارجعي ا...
